Asia De Lorenzi
Asia De Lorenzi is a freelance photographer from Merano. While completing her degree in Communication Sciences and Culture at the Free University of Bolzano, she took part in numerous cultural, social and artistic projects, collaborating with various local organisations. Her passion for photography is accompanied by a curiosity to interweave other forms of art, such as film or illustration. Each project is an opportunity for her to experiment, discover something more about herself, and meet new people. Relationships with others are essential in every work situation, be it when documenting a cultural event, photographing a wedding, shooting a music video or running an art workshop in a kindergarten. For her, the project "An Imprint of the World in South Tyrol" is an opportunity to highlight the work and history of the people who bring wealth to the province of Bolzano: wealth that is not only measurable in economic terms, but in the experience, kindness, courage, skills and wisdom of individuals who contribute greatly to the well-being of the community.
Stories of a certain scale
"Stories of a certain scale" was born out of a desire to learn more about the local realities involved in catering - from kiosks and bistros to restaurants and pizzerias. Food brings people together from different backgrounds, through traditional or experimental ingredients and preparations. Through 11 culinary journeys, you will discover the people behind your favourite dish, giving you a wide range of choices when looking for a good place to eat in South Tyrol. Each story is told directly by those who, through delicious food, kindness and their own philosophy, enrich the South Tyrolean community. Anecdotes, challenges and important moments in life make up each person's journey. The ingredients in the recipes do the same, to ultimately reveal a dish that, after having read the story of the person who made it, will be enjoyed all the more.
